Summer fun
Summer was Great

Well, we have had our AC turned off for a few weeks now. I guess that signals that the summer is winding down. The girls are back at school. We are doing a hybrid homeschool system this year. They meet all day for one day a week with the children of 26 or so other families where different parents teach different subjects (Bambi is the music teacher--no surprise). The rest of the week they are at home. So far so good--kind of the best of both worlds.
Laurel and Lindsey are involved with Cross Country this fall. Some days they like the running, some days not so much.
The summer had some events of note. Bambi and I were able to get away to a retreat sans children in July. We spent some QT with brothers and sisters in Christ at a resort in Tennessee.
I was able to get in a couple of backpacking trips--both in Montana this year. Good hikes, breathtaking scenery, wonderful company, and good fishing.
We recently returned from a week up in northwestern Montana. We spent time at Swan Lake (at our friend Sam’s cabin), Kalispell, and Glacier National Park. Made many memories along the way.
Be Blessed.
